In this first installment of Picture Show posts, I will share my favorite shots from the beautiful French Rive Gauche-style film, Cléo from 5 to 7, directed by Agnes Varda, and starring Corinne Marchand (looking an awful lot like early-'70s Debbie Harry). It features a lush and lilting score by Michel Legrand, some of the most inspiring footage of Paris in black & white ever placed on celluloid, and a story that may seem slightly vapid in the beginning, but slowly morphs into something deeply, emotionally haunting. It is one of my absolute faves, and here is a sampling of its visual perfection (including my dream loft) . . .
FIN.

You can find both on BookFinder.com, for very affordable prices.
Try out all the results that you get, the prices vary from seller to seller.
For example, the 1945 version of the Indian Album is going for about $14.
